Open Saturdays

12:00 PM-4:00 PM     

Open Saturdays are the retail hours to stroll all four floors of the 102 year old former seed warehouse, now home to over 300 artists and creatives. Open Studios, Special Events and Gallery Openings all under one Enormous Roof!

Not all artists or studios will be open during extended Northrup King Building hours, per their discretion. We encourage you to contact the artist or studio you wish to visit to ensure they will be open. Masks are required throughout the building.

We do not have air conditioning in our studio, please make an appointment as we will not be open for the months of June, July and August.

 

 

ART-A-WHIRL® WEEKEND

2025 IS THE 30TH YEAR OF ART-A-WHIRL!

The largest open artist studio tour in the country, Art-A-Whirl happens annually throughout Northeast Minneapolis the third weekend of May.

Over 1,600 NEMAA member artists, galleries, and businesses participate across all of Northeast Minneapolis at 100+ locations. Art-A-Whirl is a fantastic way to connect with artists in their own spaces, enjoy demonstrations and interactive activities, listen to live music, and enjoy local restaurants and breweries. Art-A-Whirl is free and open to the public.

 

 

Art Attack! 2025

Are you ready for an Art Attack? The Northrup King Building's highly anticipated fall open studio event showcases four floors of amazing art and gifts that will attack all your senses – in a good way! Meet the artists, find a unique treasure, get your shopping done, or try your hand at an interactive art activity – all featured at our beautiful and historic arts building. Three days full of fun, color and inspiration! Rawr, it's Art Attack!
